The Council on Governmental Relations (COGR) announced the upcoming regular meeting scheduled for June 9-10, 2016, at the Washington Marriott Georgetown Hotel in Washington, D.C. The meeting agenda includes interest group sessions, forums, committee reports, and networking opportunities, with registration beginning at 8:30 a.m. on June 9. A range of activities, such as current topics sessions, guest speakers, university and federal forums, and meals, are planned to facilitate engagement among representatives of member universities and affiliated entities. Specific topics for interest groups and a detailed agenda will be provided in May.

Participants are encouraged to secure accommodations at the Marriott by May 17, 2016, to receive the COGR group rate, with the hotel offering flexibility on check-in times subject to availability. The registration fee for the meeting is $400, payable online via the COGR website or by mail, and attendance is restricted to employees of member institutions and their affiliates. Written cancellations submitted by June 2, 2016, are eligible for refunds; after this deadline, refunds or registration carryovers are not permitted due to contractual obligations with the venue. The notice emphasizes the importance of timely registration and adherence to cancellation policies.
