The Council on Governmental Relations (COGR) has notified its primary representatives of the membership dues for Fiscal Year 2025, which will be set at $12,000 per institution, representing a $500 increase from the previous year. This adjustment aligns with COGR’s commitment, first communicated in 2021, to implement modest annual increases in line with inflation, aiming to prevent occasional substantial hikes and to assist member institutions in their financial planning. Invoices will be accessible through the COGR Portal starting June 1, and payment can be made by check or electronic transfer.
COGR emphasizes that its advocacy and educational initiatives are made possible by both the expertise of member institutions and their financial contributions through annual dues. Membership dues support comprehensive benefits for all institutional staff, including access to resources in the COGR Member Portal, participation in meetings and webinars, and regular updates on evolving federal policies impacting research institutions. The organization invites feedback and encourages members with questions or suggestions for improved service to reach out to the Assistant Director of Member Engagement & Policy.
