COGR hosts two in-person membership meetings each year that convene senior research administrators, compliance professionals, and policy leaders from member institutions to discuss current issues affecting the research community. The meetings feature two days of plenary sessions, agency presentations, and committee discussions focused on research policy, financial management, compliance, and federal engagement. COGR's in-person membership meetings are in addition to the association's annual virtual meeting each February.

These gatherings provide a collaborative forum for members to exchange insights, engage directly with federal officials, and stay informed on evolving regulations and best practices. COGR’s membership meetings are a cornerstone of the association’s work in strengthening the partnership between research institutions and the federal government, while advancing the efficiency and integrity of the U.S. research enterprise.

Registration will open in Summer 2026.
