Chapter 2: NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy Matrix

COGR has published Version 3.0 of the NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy Matrix, which serves as Chapter 2 of COGR’s NIH DMS Readiness Guide. 

This policy matrix covers the four overarching NIH DMS policies/supplements and the FAQs, when possible, as well as the institute and center-specific policies issued to date.  We are tracking information across several key topic areas, including:

• plan development & approval
• allowable costs
• privacy/security concerns
• data storage, and
• monitoring & compliance

COGR will publish updates to the matrix as additional information becomes available, and we will maintain prior versions of the chart on the COGR site.
