COGR Summaries of NSPM-33 Disclosure Requirements & Other Provisions

Description:

Shortly into the New Year, the long-awaited guidance on NSPM-33 was finally issued. This guidance serves as an important first step in working toward harmonization of disclosure requirements across federal research funding agencies, as well as providing guidance for agency implementation of other important NSPM-33 provisions such as the use of digital persistent identifiers, making clear government consequences for violation of disclosure requirements, and the mandate for the establishment of research security programs by research institutions that receive more than $50 million per year in federal science and engineering support.

This webinar will present an overview of the guidance document’s main provisions and discuss key points that institutions should consider. Plenty of time will be afforded for an audience question and answer period, and questions may be sent to COGR in advance of the webinar.

Speakers for this webinar will be:

Theresa Colecchia
Senior Associate General Counsel

Michael Vernick
